Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for the 2008 bike MS?

You can register online now. You will be guided through the registration process. Once your registration is complete, you will recieve a confirmation email receipt. If you can't register online, please call 201-967-5599 and we will be happy to take your registration over the phone.

How old do I have to be to participate?

You must be 12 years or older in order to participate in bike MS.

How much should I raise?

Raise as much as you can! The more money raised, the closer we get to a cure! We do require that you raise a minimum of $350 if you are participating in the one-day or two-day option or a minimum of $150 to participate in the 20-mile option. This way, we can put as much money as possible towards research, programs and services for people with MS and their families.

Do I have to pledge the $350 minimum myself?

No!  Each rider is asked to raise the requirement of $350 (or $150 if you are participating in the 20-mile event). This includes your self pledge (if you choose to make one) along with any other donations you collect from your friends, family, co-workers and acquaintances.

When can I start raising funds for bike MS? When are pledges due?

It's never too early to start fundraising! Your pledge sheet and sample fundraising letters are available online to help you in your collection efforts. Be sure to take advantage of our convenient online E-pledge option! Encourage your donors to pledge you with a credit card online. It's fast, easy and safe.  Take all the pledges you have collected with you to bike MS. Please keep in mind that you have until Monday, October 14, 2008 to continue to collect and turn in pledges to count towards your fundraising total.
